Trinity House Group are working alongside a global leading brand who provide sustainable mobility and advanced solutions.

They are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team to drive the performance of the business within their North Region, buildingoff of their existing foundations to optimize the performance of the business.


The Role:


Based at the regional head office in Warwick and reporting to the Finance Business Partner, Commercial Business Unit, the role is responsible for analysis, decision support, reporting and financial oversight of Commercial business sales activities.


  • Performance review & analysis versus benchmarks regarding the Commercial P&L
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and determining causes of unexpected variance and suggest appropriate countermeasures for correction
  • Prepare and support presentation of the management reporting package to the business leaders and stakeholders, delivering pertinent insights that reflect the market environment, true performance achievements and priorities for focus by business line
  • Create and maintain financial models focusing on profitability and variance analysis, developing business cases, KPI's and investment / ROI summaries
  • Develop business case and investment appraisals for commercial actions proposed, securing approval and buyin from business stakeholders
  • Take ownership for financial planning delivery relevant to the channel
  • Work closely with the operations team on all areas, including pricing and planning.

Requirements:


  • Education/professional certifications: A qualification from a recognised professional body (e.g. CIMA, ACA or ACCA) is essential. Degree educated.
  • Commercially minded. Displaying the curiosity to understand the business, the market and our competitors, using this insight to challenge with confidence and coach as required
  • Demonstration of strong analytical, numerical, and problemsolving skills, looking beyond the numbers to identify root cause and find solutions
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present in a clear and succinct manner
  • Ability to build strong relationships based on integrity, trust and respected financial judgement
  • Ability to create and maintain strong ownership of financial reporting in the business
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and schedule work to meet deadlines consistently
