Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
We are searching for an enthusiastic person to join our Administrative team at the
studio in
Birmingham City Centre. This role would suit a person who would like pursue a
career in Events or Finance.

about the package:

The hourly rate for this role is £10.42 per hour

20 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata)


We are looking for the right person for this role, so it could be part time, job share or full time, from around 25 hours per week.

We are a busy events venue and so the role would include some evening and weekend work.


about the role:

General reception duties, answering calls, accurate message taking.


Meeting and greeting clients, using our events booking software to understand where their event is and timings for the event.

Financial and administrative duties, including post, photocopying, faxing and filing. Using Office to create and update documents. Supporting the finance team with administration, including updating finance software with invoices and raising invoices.

Debt chasing, taking credit card payments.

Supporting the Finance Manager with book-keeping duties including uploading information on our Xero software.

We are looking for either part time or full time applicants for this role 25-40 hours per week.

Born as 'The Orange Studio' in 1999 we started with our award-winning Birmingham location and just 5 meeting rooms but it's safe to say we've grown a lot since then.

We became the
studio in 2006 and we are now an independent company, owned and run by the same team since the beginning but now having grown to 46 meeting rooms across 4 locations around the UK.

Though we've grown a lot our friendly, people focused ethos and culture very much remains at our heart.
