Description

The post holder will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled, experienced and motivated professionals comprising of occupational therapists, learning disability nurses, psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and psychiatrists alongside our social care colleagues.

The role requires coordination of the delivery of high quality, evidence based care to people with a learning disability in the community, working in close partnership with professional lead colleagues


You will be able to use your relevant clinical skills in support of the Service's core pathways (Mental Health, Behaviour Support and Complex Physical Health), putting evidence and research into practice - as part of a wider service.


The post holder will develop and articulate clear objectives for the team, as part of the wider service's objectives, responding quickly to new development opportunities and operational changes.

You will be joining a team of able and experienced colleagues. You will have regular high quality supervision and appraisals, access to development opportunities to suit your needs. You will be supported to take forwards initiatives you may develop using Quality Improvement methodologies.
