Software Engineer - London (Hybrid) £50k - £70k per annum

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expert, multidisciplinary engineering team working on next generation payment solutions for clients and customers all over the world.

Offering hybrid working with 2 days a week in the central London office, this position is paying between £50k and £70k per annum.

THE COMPANY:
Scaling London-based FinTech developing B2B payment and transaction processing.

THE ROLE:

You will be joining a team of developers who focus on all layers of the stack, using serverless event driven architecture to enhance and improve the experience of all stakeholders in the transactions.

Each of the teams work with a high degree of autonomy and operate in a flat structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with a crossfunctional team of engineers, designers, and product managers to design, test, and iterate on solutions as required by the business teams.
Mentor Software Engineers and provide technical guidance to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
Assisting with the overall design of distributed microservices.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

In depth knowledge of Node.

JS, TypeScript.

Experience using AWS or other cloud technologies.
Experience writing well tested code and comprehensive understanding of Test Driven Development.
Experience creating and managing infrastructure using infrastructure as code. Experience with the Serverless Framework, CDK and/or AWS CloudFormation is highly desirable.
Worked with Databases and writing SQL.
