Description
You'll be an experienced Credit Controller with at least 2 years management experience.

Working within an established and growing business, you'll be responsible for driving the team in the achievement of quality, accuracy and timely delivery.


Day to Day duties and Responsibilities:

  • To drive the team in the achievement of quality, accuracy, and timely delivery in accordance with the defined SLA's/KPI's and provide reports on these when required
  • To be a Service Champion contributing recommendations to strategic plans and reviews throughout the business
  • Measure and monitor performance
  • Ensuring Ledger reviews are booked in on a weekly basis to review the team performance and highlight any areas of concerns and 121's take place monthly
  • To be able to highlight areas of improvement and suggest actions to maintain best practice
  • To suggest and implement process improvements that will contribute to more effective working practices to be a Subject Matter expert for all operational aspects
  • Recruitment of staff and ensure there is a full induction provided and assist in the training
  • Project planning and onboarding of new customers
  • Ensure processes are efficient, compliant and be able to own the process controls
  • Manage the Credit Risk in the process whilst collecting debtor balances
  • Root Cause Analysis to identify process improvements with query resolution to improve the customer experience
  • Liaise with Auditors and be able to provide the required information to tight deadlines
  • Display and instil a service culture orientation within the team
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement Continuous Improvements this includes working with relevant Stakeholders and Internal departments
  • Ongoing training, coaching and development of existing staff.
  • Empowering staff to make decisions and take responsibility for the decisions made.
  • Encourage a positive team spirit is helpful, supportive, and respectful.
  • Attention to detail and be able to work under pressure to ensure tight deadlines are met.
  • Be able to work on own initiative taking full ownership and finishing of tasks
  • Reviewing the unallocated cash account daily to ensure these transactions are kept at a minimum
  • Good Communication Skills both written and verbal
  • Computer Literate with a good understanding of Excel as spreadsheet work is essential.
