They have have been manufacturing meat products for 30 years and based approximately 1.8 miles outside of Mansfield town centre with easy access via public transport.

Our clients work to the highest global standards in food production and are growing our business and sectors in which we work.

Their current range of manufactured products are Doner Kebabs, Pizza Toppings, Sliced Kebab and sliced Beef Philly Steak.

We are looking to add to the production team as the business grows into new markets.

With a large new long term contract that has recently started, we are looking for good people who are willing to work hard and make a difference.

You must be able to read and write in English.

Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred but not essential.
Training will be provided for the successful applicants who display a good work ethic and attention to detail.

As part of the team, you will be tasked with the production of meat based products.
This will include;

Operating food production machinery
Measuring specific volumes of ingredients accurately
Accurately working to recipes and mix times for each product
Accurately completing paperwork required to track the product through the manufacturing process.
Wearing the correct PPE as required in the production area.
Cleaning down the production area to required protocols.
Replenishing production materials as required prior to production.
Helping the warehouse team with any required order/stock movements
Working on different product lines as the business demands.
Learning new production techniques as and when they are required.

The job will include some lifting at times and working in a chilled production facility. The operation of large machinery is included alongside the requirement to complete detailed paperwork throughout the manufacturing process.

All Health & Safety protocols are in place and followed.

Normal hours of work will start at 6.30am until mid afternoon depending on the workload of the day. We offer a minimum 40 hours per week. Mon-Fri. We may offer weekend overtime as we grow, but this will only be on rare occasions.

Salary:
£10.42 to be reviewed on successful completion of 13 weeks service
