Administrative Supervisor - Registry Operations, Registry Support Team
An opportunity has arisen in Registry Operations to join the Registry Support team as an Administrative Supervisor.

The Registry Support team provides a range of support functions across Registry Operations, including enquiry management, training, and communications support.


  • The roleholder will line manage 4 Administrative Assistants and provide support to the wider team in key duties undertaken, particularly in responding to enquiries and resolving issues to deliver excellent customer service and demonstrating the Registry Operations values and behaviours.
  • Providing a customer focused administrative service within Registry Operations, engaging and completing a range of complex and routine tasks to meet operational and customer requirements. Working alongside the Registry Support Officer in improving processes and assisting in the creation and delivering of training to internal and external colleagues.
  • Supporting colleagues around the University and ensuring that a quality student experience is central to the role, the roleholder will work closely with the other Administrative Supervisor within the Registry Support team and other Administrative Supervisors across Registry Operations.

Salary:

£26,444 - £29,605 per annum, pro rata for part time staff (Grade 4).-

Key Duties

  • Collaborate with others in order to make recommendations for developments of established processes and procedures
  • Establish working relationships with key contacts to help improve service levels, developing appropriate communication links with the University's Schools/Directorates and outside bodies as required
  • Undertake a variety of administrative duties to support the team and department, including data validation and cleansing and training
  • Gather and analyse data to inform decisions, establishing trends and patterns in student data and creating reports as appropriate
  • Supervise the work of the team, including the allocation of work tasks, monitoring of holiday cover/working arrangements, proving pastoral care, training, and support to staff members where necessary

Specific Duties

  • Work closely with the Registry Support Officer and Registry Operations Teams on improving data quality through validation. Identifying issues with data, proposing reporting requirements or amendments to processes as appropriate
  • Assist in creating and delivering training content for internal and external staff. Identifying training requirements within the Registry Support Team and working with other Registry Operations Administrative Supervisors to identify training needs and appropriate training
  • Working across enquiry management channels to respond to enquiries, particularly those of a complex nature where specialist advice and support may be required
  • Supporting administrative duties and the Administrative Assistants within the Registry Support Team

General Duties
