Social Staffing is a leading recruitment agency, specialising in filling adhoc shifts and providing temporary and permanent placements in the social care industry for both public and private sectors.


My client is a a group of Children's Homes based in Stottesdon, Shropshire providing support to children with learning disabilities work to work with service users with learning liabilities and autism.

We are looking for support staff to join our team to work on a ad hoc basis and pick up shifts around availability


The aim of the home is to assist young adults in their transitioning from high levels of support towards a more independent style of living, in which to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.

As a Support Worker you will be:

  • Being Ambitious for young people, helping them achieve their goals and engagement,
  • Build and develop relationship with young people an encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities offered within the home.
  • Plan and participate fully in working rota, this will include weekends and sleeps in.
  • Support our young people with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning medical appointments, etc

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • NVQ Level 2 is preferred.
  • Experience in a similar setting (desirable)
  • Driving Licence ( Essential )
  • Milage paid to and from address

Pay Rates up to £13 per hour for days depending on experience, contact Mark on if you wish to discuss further

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
£11.50-£13.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
