We currently have an exciting role for a Payroll Administrator, providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics Team at our Castle Donington Headquarters site.

The role works days, working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday.


About the Role:


As a Payroll Administrator, you will be working within the Finance Department and will be responsible for processing employee pay accurately.

You will also support the finance department with generalist and administrative duties.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Calculating and processing employees pay by electronic transfer. This includes weekly, four weekly and monthly paid employees
  • Calculating overtime and shift payments
  • Processing holiday, sick and maternity/paternity pay
  • Ensuring correct PAYE/NI deductions are made and paid to HMRC on time
  • Processing weekly RTI submission via Government Gateway website
  • Processing any employee Attachment of Earnings orders and ensure payments are made to relevant authority on time
  • Maintaining Sage payroll system
  • Issuing P45's and other tax forms
  • Answering any pay related queries
  • Undertaking general admin duties relating to payroll
  • Assisting other members of Finance and HR departments

What we are looking for:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of Accounting software i.e Sage would be an advantage however not essential
  • An understanding of current legislation in areas such as tax
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and timescales
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
