Account Manager - 12 Months Maternity Cover

The Role:

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the continued development & organic growth of up to 30-35 existing clients based throughout the UK.

The Account Manager will be selling a range of Oils & Proteins used as a rawmaterial into process end users and manufacturers within the food & beverage sector.

A big part of this Account Manager role will be working with manufacturers to develop new products, enhance their production by using new ingredients, and implementing commercialdeals for long-term partnerships.

This role is 100% account management, some face to face meetings may be necessary but the bulk of this role is office based.

The Account Manager will have full autonomy on the growth of the business, commercial terms, andensuring that both our client and their customers benefit from a mutually beneficial agreement.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have an internal sales & account management background
  • Understand growing existing clients through offering new solutions
  • Have an appreciation for the manufacturing market
  • Clear communicator both written and verbal
  • Have Key Account experience, or looking to step into KAM role, within the FMCG sector
  • Open to international travel for trade events
  • Full & Clean Driving licence

Package:
£36,000 basic salary + Pension + 23 days holiday (+ birthday off) + Bank Holidays + Phone + Laptop
