Location Wythenshawe M23 Registered Manager - Children Learning Disabilities

Monday to Friday working pattern with on-call duties

Salary ranges up to £42,000 + Bonus Scheme


Time Recruitment are working with a well-established highly reputable Residential Service for Children in Wythenshawe who are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager.


The team in Wythenshawe use the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model to support children with complex needs, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and behaviours that challenge.

PBS is a person-centred approach to supporting people with alearning disability.


As the Registered Manager, you will be supported by two Deputy Managers, a therapist attached to the home, and a PBS Practitioner to ensure the needs of our young people are safely met.

This includes developing their independence and life skills, implementingevidence-based interventions, and using PBS plans to reduce behaviours of concern and improve quality of life.

Must Have's

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving license
  • At least 1 years' team management experience and 2 years' experience of residential services
  • Able to build and maintain trust and rapport with children and staff
  • To be a positive role model
  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports
  • Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS certificate upon appointment

  • Financial management skills or experience

  • Experience of working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
