Description

Job Title:
Cleaner

We are seeking a local early riser to help service a pub in Wareham. This job is for two hours a day to start at any time but must be completed by 9am. This is a key holder position. Please note this is weekend only. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.


Duties:


  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Stock and replenish supplies as needed
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors

Job Type:

Salary:
£10.00-£11.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

  • Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Wareham (preferred)
