We're seeking Assistant Practitioners to join us on a system wide pilot in Norfolk to improve the services we can collectively offer to children, young people and their families.
Norfolk Start for Life (SfL) allows families to access a variety of services through a single offer working with a range of partners, parents, and carers.
Our goal is to launch an innovative workforce pilot to test the introduction of two new roles to work alongside existing health and care professionals and to support this being rolled out.
You will:

Provide interventions in or alongside maternity or ECFS services to families with additional vulnerabilities, offering the SFL AP a unique career development experience that allows for joint learning and the identification of novel ideas for shared delivery approaches.
Make assessment of the child(ren)'s developmental progress and agree levels of intervention required with caseload holder to optimise developmental and social/emotional progress.
Supporting families in providing an innovative and high-quality service in a community and system that enhances client care and promotes child and family wellbeing.
Liaise regularly with the SfL team and core workforce partners to assist in the co-ordination, development, and quality-improvement of the service.
Participate in regular management, clinical, safeguarding and group supervision and team training.
Always ensure safety and dignity of service users.
To promote the use of digital resources on Just One Norfolk to enhance self-care skills for children, young people, and their families.
To write clinical records in a concise, accurate and timely manner in line with Cambridgeshire Community Services record keeping policy.
