JOB TITLE:
Operations & Finance Assistant


LOCATION:
Taunton, Somerset (Office Based)


SALARY:
£20,000 - £25,000 PA (Dependant on experience)

THE ROLE:

You will be part of the team assisting operations and finance, managing all aspects of running the office, the operations, and finances within the group.

You will be ensuring the smooth day to day running of the office and dealwith daily post, orders, deliveries, and contractors where necessary.

You and the team will be responsible for reconciliation, monitoring and maintaining all group accounts such as payroll, bank accounts, adviser capital accounts and financial records relatingto leads, introducers, and company referrals.


Daily duties will include:

  • Reconciling commission statements within client databases, adviser accounts and introducer accounts, where applicable
  • Sending out introducer letters with relevant payments
  • Reconciling the companies bank transactions within the relevant accounting software
  • Monitoring and paying invoices
  • Instructing the payroll and making the relevant pay transactions
  • Keeping the relevant finance and referral spreadsheets updated and actioned accordingly
  • Helping to manage all operational sides of the business, the office building and the fixtures, fittings, and contents within them
  • Helping to manage the IT and phone systems
  • Assist the Leadership Team with administrative tasks
  • Ordering stationery and office essentials
  • Dealing with the daily post & weekly fruit deliveries
  • A high degree of personal motivation, organisational skills, and the ability to manage your own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Flexibility and approachability under pressure
