My highly prestigious client based in Kendal, are currently recruiting for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a series of project schedules from sales enquiry through to client project acceptance.
  • Integrate the project schedules into the Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Design and Production planning process to ensure all resource allocations are understood and kept updated on a weekly basis.
  • Integration of available resources into the schedule program across all disciplines reporting on potential equipment / personnel resource bottlenecks.
  • Highlight in a timely fashion any corrective actions required to maintain project schedule & develop a mitigation plan if / when projects run behind baseline schedule.

The experience that we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar planning/scheduling role
  • Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business or similar
  • Possess excellent organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
