Senior Secondary Education Coordinator (South Sefton/L4)

About the opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Education Senior Coordinator to join our growing Everton in the Community Inspire Tutor team.


As Secondary Education Senior Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate the work of PL Inspires Programme Tutors across geographical areas of the Liverpool City Region and will also lead and coordinate tutors work for Steve Morgan Foundation-funded area-based projects within the South Sefton and L4 Regions.


Other key responsibilities will include:
To develop projects around the aims and objectives of the Premier League Inspires programme and the agreed funded objectives of the Steve Morgan Foundation as per the EITC Impact Model. To establish relationships with all named and targeted Schools and Colleges. All the information will be placed on the CRM system for reporting. To ensure SLAs, GDPR agreements and Risk Assessments are completed prior to the commencement of delivery. To supervise and coordinate all Secondary Education activity in L4/South Sefton. To support the wider Secondary Education provision of EITC as business needs require. Provide professional and inspirational leadership to the team as required in order to support individual development. To work closely with individuals to develop their skills, utilising a consultative and supportive approach develop potential. To co-ordinate all operational activities, delegating and organising work schedules and thing ahead to ensure resource is appropriately allocated.
Safeguarding- To understand the Club's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines.

To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.


Who we are looking for:

Essentially, we are looking for an individual who has experience of working with schools along with knowledge of the curriculum and who has experience delivering alternative educational or early intervention programmes.


Other key Knowledge and Skills will include:

  • Knowledge of the risk factors associated with young people susceptible to engaging in criminal activities-
  • Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviours, SEN and vulnerable to exploitation-
  • Experience of organising and implementing activities and/or interventions for young people-
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certification.

This position will be offered on a fixed term basis, working 35 hours per week
