Job Introduction

Reach is looking for a Senior Commercial Content Writer to join the team


As part of the partnerships team you will work across all sectors, you will need to be comfortable working on any content which supports revenue or our broader business ambitions.

You will be tasked with strategising content plans and delivering high-quality, well-researched, accurate and well-written content to agreed deadlines.

This could be on paid-for campaigns or working on content for the broader team where there's no direct revenue. All your jobs will be fulfilled to an exceptional standard and all deadlines met.


This is a fast paced environment with daily targets and deadlines to ensure we are driving engagement for our audience and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing 57 pieces of commercial content per day
  • Publishing content online, ensuring Reach digital publishing standards and SLAs are met at all times
  • Utilise all means of traffic generation including SEO, social channels and internal links
  • Manage audience engagement channels (social, newsletters etc)
Meet digital objectives and daily targets as set out by Content Lead

  • Deliver value for our commercial partners through brand exposure, content traffic and onward transactional activity
  • Building and maintaining direct relationships with partners, working together to maximise content opportunities
  • Confident in using your indepth SEO knowledge to write and update content that will rank on Google
  • Experience with delivering KPIs, including content output, page views, engagement, clicks and interactions
NCTJ or equivalent qualification with knowledge of media law and ASA restrictions

  • Strong digital publishing and storytelling skills and fully versed across all social media channels
  • Be comfortable with attending external meetings with Business Development Managers to pitch commercial content opportunities
  • An excellent goto attitude where you bring ideas to the team and love seeing them come to life
