Description

The Behavioural Family Therapist will work within the EiP service framework to ensure that accurate work is completed within the time limits, framework and standards set.

The duties and responsibilities of the post will be undertaken in accordance with the policies, procedures and quality management systems of MPFT.

It is the post holders responsibility to ensure they keep up to date with these policies and other procedural documents.

To assist in the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of family-focused evidence-based individual and group interventions (BFT and Carer-education specific to Early Intervention in Psychosis, as set out in EIP Standards, NICE 2016) To work in partnership with service users, carers, ARMS Service.

EiP team, wider health & social care services, community assets and statutory and voluntary sector services.

To promote family/ carer understanding and support for service user recovery and to assist them in regaining and maintaining their place in the community.

To provide co-produced carer education using a range of clinical, evidence-based self-management and health promotion interventions.
