We are recruiting a
Plant Fitter to expand our skilled workforce at our
Meriden depot, ensuring the continued maintenance and optimal performance of cutting-edge machinery, and meet the growing demands of our customers

Responsibilities

Inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy machinery, vehicles and equipment.
Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
Perform basic maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement and minor repairs.
Assist in identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in equipment.
Collaborate with skilled plant fitters and technicians to troubleshoot and determine repairs.
Follow safety protocols and procedures when conducting repairs.
Mainten accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Report any critical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Ensure proper care, organisation, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Assist in making necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment components, including hydraulic systems and engines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Essential_
Full UK Driving Licence.
Demonstrable experience in similar role within the plant construction industry.
Excellent time management skills, be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
Must be flexible to work overtime at short notice.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred_
Experience of working in the manufacturing or construction sector.
