Accounts Assistant - Nottingham - £25,000 - £30,000

Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with large IT based firm that are looking for an accounts assistant to join their team.

This role will come with a number of benefits such as a company pension scheme along with a number of employee wellness benefits and hybrid working.

This role will allow for close working with the Management Accountant and wider finance team to ensure the best standard of finance services is delivered throughout the organisation.

This role will allow for career progression along with exposure to complying with the company's finance standards.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

Supporting the cash book function along with the support of postings when required
Undertaking month end bank reconciliations
Supporting month end account production in conjunction with the company management accountant
Supporting the company audit processes
Working to maintain the purchase and sales ledger along with general ledger functions

What we're looking for

Part qualified/qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) accounts assistant or qualified by experience
Passionate about developing and growing their knowledge of working in finance
Understanding of accounting functions along with a good knowledge of excel

Hours:

Fulltime, Monday to Friday
