**SEMH Teaching Assistant

Starting date:

ASAP
Full time
£ Per day****Location: Croydon

Secondary School**
Free CPD and Constant support with interviewing
Experience of working alongside students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) would be a huge benefit.
As an SEMH/ SEN teaching assistant you will be joining a strong and supportive student support department.

You will be required to work closely supporting students and will need to have good rapport and an understanding of each individual's needs.

Experience of working as a teaching assistant (desired):


  • Have an interest in the education sector:

A current enhanced DBS (Or willing to process one £49):

SEND experience (Desired):

A recent graduate (graduated within last 2 years):


  • Ability to engage with and inspire young learners

Role Summary

Your role will be to provide support to students with additional needs, 1:1 tuition or to small groups of students with varying abilities, you will be encouraging and supporting individual pupils to reach their full potential whilst demonstrating a creativeand determined attitude that will help motivate students.

You will be directly supporting the students, as well as helping to organise the teaching and learning resources available to students and staff.
