We are looking for switched on and experienced Production Assistant to join an expanding and exciting clothing supply company who have offices in East London, Manchester, Leicester, France, Germany ,Spain, USA and the South Coast.

With a grounding in merchandising or production, you will assist the sales and design team in managing the critical path to make sure production dates are on time, submitting lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk submits from factories in Leicester to Turkey, China, Bangladesh and the Far East ( Worldwide )

Involved in creating all purchase orders for the department, ensuring all POs are confirmed and on the in-house system and deal with customers and factories providing clear and precise information to all parties you will work on a adhoc weekly basis in Brighton 3/4 days a week and at the other offices 1/2 times a week ( mainly London ).

MUST-HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
We are looking for Production Assistant with recent experience working for a UK based high street supplier who is looking to learn and build a career with the client and stamp their authority on the role (thinking on your feet and being proactive)
Recent experience of working with Turkish factories ( or short lead time factories ) would be ideal
Based in Brighton but be happy to travel to London or other offices at last a couple of times a week ( travel and hotels can be paid as needed )
A recent track record of critical path management / liaising with buyers, factories, and sales is key
First-class communication skills (both verbal and written)
Team player with a "get the job done" attitude as deadlines are key
Brighton, Surrey or London based ( no relocations ) and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years
