Meraki Talent's client is currently seeking a Head of Compliance to join on a permanent basis. Our client is a well regarded Financial & Professional Services firm.

The purpose of this role is to develop a wealth function from scratch and embedding the compliance framework

Key outcomes:

Ensuring compliance with the necessary FCA requirements, with a particular focus on MCOB rules and the Consumer Credit Sourcebook and the conduct risk approach to compliance
Management and development of the compliance team
Lead the production of MI for Financial Services clients for contractual requirements
Build strong understanding of SLAs
Ensuring policies and procedures are robust
Regularly liaise with clients to facilitate review meetings, compliance audits and training calls
Develop and deliver a strategy for the compliance team
Develop key performance metrics to ensure key governance and compliance measurables are met

For this role my client is seeking an experienced Compliance professional who is well versed in the FCA compliance regime.

Previous team management is desirable as are strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

SMF16/17 experience is essential
