IT Security Coordinator

Based in Gateshead with remote working.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with IT Security experience to join our IT team in Gateshead.

You'll be overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Information and Cyber Security, ensuring the business' IT infrastructure and services are appropriately secured.

As an IT Security Coordinator, you'll be:

Assisting the team in overseeing the IT Security incident process, the IT Security Tooling, and ensuring all assets are protected and up to date.
Coordinating multiple security tools, awareness programs and working within an ISO27001 framework.
Coordinating all Group security awareness programs and initiatives, liaison with Churchill employees on information security matters.
Working with the external consultant on the internal information security audit programme
Liaising with Certification bodies regarding external ISMS audits, overseeing nonconformances, noncompliances and improvements raised from internal and external information security audits.
Assisting in spot checks of IT security performance and report data to Group IT Director.

As an IT Security Coordinator you'll have:

An Understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud services, and proactive approach to IT security
Be a team player with a logical and structured approach, good communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as required
Flexible approach to work, ability to work under pressure and excellent organisational skills
CISSP and/or CISM, MSC Cyber Security and previous experience of managing IT Security within an organisation are desirable.
