At MSV Housing we're committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes. We are looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officers to support our Manchester tenants and join our established team.

Reporting to a Neighbourhood Manager, our Neighbourhood Officers manage a patch of properties to deliver a customer focussed Neighbourhood service to our customers.

What will you be doing;

  • Building and maintaining good landlord / tenant relationships ensuring compliance of both tenants and landlord obligations.
  • Management of rent arrears, case management of high level rent arrears and Court proceedings.
  • Case management of legal proceedings from preparation of court paperwork, ensuring compliance of preaction protocols up to and including presenting the case in court as and when required.
  • Visits to customer's homes, inspecting properties and addressing any tenancy related issues and making appropriate referrals where necessary.
  • Completing regular inspections of our neighbourhoods and resolving any estate management issues
  • Working closely with our Community Safety, Asset Management Team and partners to resolve issues that impact the community.
What we are looking for;

  • Knowledge of the full range of Neighbourhood Management Services
  • Experience of working in communities
  • Good Standard of education and skilled with Microsoft packages
  • Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work
  • Passionate to provide a high standard customer focused service
  • Level 5 in Charted Institute of Housing would be desirable
