Marketing Officer Projects Temp 6x Month Initial Contract / £13PH Flexible / Hybrid Working


Macildowie are working with an established education provider based in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit a Marketing Officer on a temporary basis, for a minimum of 6x months, but there is scope for this project to be extended.


The Marketing Officer will support with delivering marketing campaigns (online and offline), social media activity and website updates, and work closely with project partners.

The role will work closely with the Senior Marketing Officer to deliver KPIs foreach project on time and within budget.


About the role:


  • Assist with reporting on the success of marketing activity for the assigned Project, outlining conversion rates and leads generated
  • Maintain project websites ensuring web pages are set up correctly and up to date with the product offer
  • Assist with the set up and development of social media platforms for the project and associated partners
  • Assist on the creation of emarketing campaigns for the project, maintaining databases, and advise on their outcomes
  • Work with the digital team to evaluate how digital campaigns are performing, making changes as and when required
  • Assist with writing copy for marketing materials, social posts, and web pages to ensure they are suitable for online audiences
  • Assist with PR opportunities and sourcing images and case studies as required
  • Work closely with design agencies and brief in requirements for the project
  • Support wider team with a range of marketing activity as required, including but not limited to supporting events, leading on the delivery of coursespecific marketing campaigns, producing collateral etc

Person Specification:


  • Degree in Marketing or an equivalent professional qualification, or demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • CIM qualification (has or is working towards)Â
  • Actively involved in the collaborative approach to cross department working
  • Engaging actively in the performance review process.
  • Addressing and delivering the appraisal targets set by the line manager
  • Taking a proactive approach to Safeguarding requirements and ensuring that there is total compliance with its requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of staff and students
  • Leading by example in playing an active and full part, to support and promote its distinctive aim and ethos and to encourage staff and students to follow this example.
  • Actively involved, promoting and developing corporate policies.
  • Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and undertaking risk assessments as appropriate.
  • Promoting and practising Equality of Opportunity and challenging to prevent prejudice
