About the Year 6 Teacher and Year Group Leader Role

As a Year 6 Teacher and Year Group Leader, you will be creating and implementing an action plan to improve teaching and learning across KS2 and you will be teaching in your phase with additional responsibility.

Day-to-day, you will be leading training sessionsfor your team and other staff members, demonstrating your exemplary teaching practice and techniques, encouraging others to follow.

As a Year 6 Teacher and Year Group Leader, you will be working under the supportive hand of the visionary SLT, an excellentpractitioner who is always keen to hear new ideas from all members of staff.

The school offers a range of professional development programmes for both teachers and leaders including a highly regarded Middle Leader program recognised as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
