We have an opportunity for a Building and Facilities Officer to join the Target Discovery Institute at the Nuffield Department of Medicine.

You will support the work of the Deputy Building and Facilities Manager to help maintain services required to ensure the effective and smooth running of the building.

You will act at all times in the interests of the building to ensure good management practice.

It is essential that you are educated to GCSE level in Maths and English or equivalent qualification. Current knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within a practical research environment is essential. You will also have the ability to use initiative and work independently with minimum supervision. Formal Health and Safety training, e.g. biological safety, manual handling, compressed gases awareness, is desirable for this role.

This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract for 3 years and is funded by the Department.
