Job Introduction


As a Catering Assistant you'll be quality-focused and be able to work on your own initiative to assist in the preparation and serving of high quality food and drink from the school kitchen.

Your passion for food service and personal excellence will ensure a quality service is delivered at all levels.

This is a Term Time position working in line with the School year.


What you'll do:


  • Prepare food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned procedures at all times
  • Be punctual with your timekeeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
  • Monitor and advise on stock usage, ensuring food stocks don't run out
  • Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
  • Ensure uniforms are worn at all times on site; displaying a professional image of our company
  • Unloading of deliveries from suppliers and storing items safely and in the correct location

Requirements:

Previous catering/kitchencleaning experience is desirable but full training will be given.

Additional Information


Due to the nature of the site an Enhanced DBS check will be required and paid for by the Company.
