Salary:
£21,575 - £21,968 (£8,855 - £9,017)


We are seeking an outstanding Learning Assistant to support pupils in the classroom at the Ingoldmells Academy.


You will be instrumental in supporting the Class Teacher to ensure the development and learning of pupils within the class.

This position will include working with small groups and on a one to one basis.


About you:

Whilst training will be given on some aspects of the personal care element of the role, we are looking for an organised and caring person who can engage pupils to inspire a love of learning


You should:
- have a range of behaviour management strategies and teaching skills
- be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- possess excellent communication skills at all levels in order to be able to liaise effectively with parent/carers and outside agencies
- experience with pupils with additional needs essential
- be able to support learning in Year 5 essential


Possessing an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Child care and education, experience with pupils with additional needs and ability to support learning in year 5 are essential.
