Sustainability Coordinator

Milton Keynes

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Sustainability Head with developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives, including NetZero planning
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance indicators, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and greenhouse gas emission
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, and marketing, to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies, to stay up to date with the latest sustainability trends and best practices
  • Develop and deliver sustainability training and awareness programs to employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Support the company's occupational health and safety program, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct audits and inspections of facilities to identify potential sustainability and safety issues and develop corrective action plans

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.

Previous experience in sustainability or environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Knowledge of sustainability best practices, including NetZero planning, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.

Experience with occupational health and safety management (desirable)

Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
