Overview


The D365 SCM Consultant will determine the strengths and weaknesses of the D365 system in relation to the client's business processes and recommend improvements to drive value by building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, internal customers and third parties.


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing indepth knowledge of D365 and evaluating the business processes against the standard capability.
  • Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
  • Challenging the business to limit customisation's and adopt best practice processes
  • Creating business impact assessment with time lines and cost/benefit analysis
  • Supports the decisionmaking process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process.
  • Liaises with third parties on a technical level for solution delivery.

Experience working in either Supply Chain, Retail or Food Distributors industry:

  • Working knowledge of the D365 Supply Chain Management modules especially Advanced Warehousing is an advantage:
  • Ability to translate customer desires and outcomes into high level technical specifications/requirements documents
  • Ability to demonstrate through proofofconcept supply chain and finance concepts and functions with AX2012/D36
  • Ability to design and have experience with AX/D365 integration's
