As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in need of assistance, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity within the familiar surroundings of their own homes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, general personal care, and toileting, with empathy and respect for our clients' needs.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements, while encouraging healthy eating habits.
  • Companionship and engage clients in meaningful social activities and conversations.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organising living spaces.
  • Offer transportation assistance for appointments, shopping, or recreational outings.
  • Document client care activities and maintain accurate records of daily interactions.
  • Stay updated on the individual care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.

Qualifications:


  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Empathetic and patient nature, with a genuine passion for caring for others.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible in scheduling.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
