Description

The college is looking to employ a full time (37 hours) Barista and Bar Person to work in the College Café Bar.

The Café Bar offers hot & cold beverages and snacks together with a full bar provision in the evening.

As part of the Catering department there will be opportunities to work in others areas within the department with training available but this role will be predominantly within the Red Brick Café Bar.

You will work over a 7 day working week as per the rota set by the Bar Manager. The shifts will be rostered for 5 days per week. Flexible working will be required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and customer focused team working to deliver excellent service to students, conference guests and visitors of Robinson College.

The Red Brick Café Bar is an exciting social hub of the College operating solely as a café until 6pm daily while offering a full licensed bar in the evenings.

We operate with a small, but friendly team of staff with every day being a new and exciting challenge.

Successful applicants would benefit from flexible working hours over a seven day week with a mixture of Daytime work and some evening work.

Weekends are shared out equally amongst the team.

Applicants must be flexible in their approach to both customers and the hours of work required to meet the demands of this varied and interesting position.

Good communication skills are essential.

Experience in either café or bar is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
