Shorterm Group are currently assisting one of our high profile Aerospace clients based in Cheltenham. They are looking for multiple Machinists to join their ever growing team due to increased workload.
There is a brief outline on what will be expected of you below, but the business itself is working within the Aerospace industry on the Landing Systems of aircraft A great opportunity to join a thriving, market leading business
The role is shift based on two weeks of "days", two weeks of "lates" and two weeks of "nights".

Dayshift:
Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.00pm
Friday - 7.30am to 12.30pm

Nightshift:
Monday to Wednesday - 9.45pm to 7.30am

Thursday - 9:45pm to 6:50am

Late-shift:
Monday to Thursday - 4.00pm to 9.45pm
Friday pm to 12 midnight

Main responsibilities will be:

Setting and Running of various CNC Machines with a variety of control systems.
To carry out different machining operations on NC according to drawings, procedures and specifications.

Key Requirements are:

A relevant engineering qualification of Level 2 or above is needed for this position.
An array of different CNC experience will be considered.
Ability to read drawings and layouts is an essential requirement of this role.
Mill turning techniques
Be able to set own tools
3+ years CNC experience.
