Job Title:
Assembly Operative

Location:
TF1, Wellington


Hours: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM - 4:45 PM Friday


Salary:
£11.50 per hour


Job Type:
Full-time


Responsibilities:


  • Assemble parts or components according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Report any issues or defects in products or equipment to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours, including Fridays.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
