Our Digital Services team are key to our success so it's an exciting and rewarding time to join us.


We are looking for someone to lead a dynamic team with responsibility for the provision of advanced technical expertise in Systems Architecture and Infrastructure; servers (physical, virtual and cloud), connectivity (voice, data and unified), supporting our O365 deployment and managing cyber security to defend the Councils systems and data.


The Principal Officer for Digital Services/ICT will involve:

  • Supporting Microsoft 365 including Teams & Teams Rooms/Azure AD/Exchange Online and In-Tune/Endpoint Management
E-Mail Security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS)

Knowledge of Conditional Access Policies

Management of Proxy Servers and Content filtering appliances.

PowerShell Administration/Scripting.

Cyber Security - Knowledge of Threat Protection.

  • How your experience supporting Microsoft 365 and of different ICT systems would benefit you in this role
About your ability to identify and develop of an appropriate ICT based solutions including making a case for investment

Knowledge of Cyber Security, security legislation and best practice standards

You will benefit from our hybrid working arrangements which means there is a combination of home working and office.
