i-teachers are currently working with a warm, welcoming and inclusive alternative provision academy based in the Mansfield area who are eager to find a supportive and empathetic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored 1:1 & small group support to children for the remainder of the academic year inside and out of the classroom in a full-time position.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Information:

  • Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Located in Mansfield (NG18)
  • Based in one alternative provision academy
  • Paid £450 per week during term time (before tax)
  • FREE online CPD courses available
  • SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
  • Monday to Friday role
  • Immediate start until the end of academic year
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 SEN support sessions for pupils in KS1 & KS
  • Creating calm and supportive learning environment

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology or Childhood Studies degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive personality
  • Passionate about the allround development of children
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
