We are recruiting for a
Sales Specialist to join
Jewson in the
Taunton area(Highbridge, Taunton or Bideford). We operate with branch based with some flexibility and share knowledge openly and have a very collaborative spirit

Jewson is a Saint-Gobain brand, making us part of one of the largest construction organisations in the world.

This purpose of the role will be to assist in the onboarding and development of new accounts: supporting the external team with conversion of live quotes and Build aviator pipelines.

You will also act as a liaison between our external sales staff, our customers,and the internal operations to provide exceptional customer service.

To be considered for Sales Specialist, you need:

Experience of working in a telephone or face to face sales environment.
Working as part of the team to deliver end results.
Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage across a matrix organisation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage simultaneous priorities.
A desire to exceed customer expectations.
Project management/coordination skills (entry level desirable).

To be successful as Sales Specialist, you will:

Pro-actively phone targeted customers to improve the share of wallet.
Onboard all new accounts within the Business Unit.
Work with customers and the external sales team to agree and set terms.
Support the external sales team with preparation and conversion of all quotations.
Help manage and convert the Business Unit sales pipeline with a keen focus on Build Aviator.
