Qualified/Finalist Management Accountant to take responsibility as US Management Accountant for rapidly growing (currently £5m pa with consistent 25%+ yoy growth) US subsidiary of highly successful and progressive international Group.

Reporting directly to the Global Financial Accountant, the US Management Accountant will perform accounting, reporting, cash management & credit control duties as well as providing support on administrative tasks as part of the US regional team.

You willbe responsible for the complete month-end cycle of accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing expenses and journal entries on the accounting system Microsoft Navision (NAV) and all the way through to month end reporting and analysis, interacting withthe USA Office based on the East coast of the US.

So key duties will focus on month end reporting of the US Management Accounts

reporting pack with insightful commentary and analysis of things like customer profitability, sales and cost analysis, etc; month end balance sheet reconciliations (including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets); posting of journal entries and reconcilinggeneral ledger accounts as necessary; month end closing process, intercompany reconciliation and calculation of Sales agents' commissions; cash management; Accounts Payable/Receivables; assembling financial data for audits and assisting in year end final accounts.

You will have some tax dealings in respect of ensuring accurate sales tax reporting for the division and liaising with tax authorities and advisors in the US.

Commercially aware, tech savvy and ambitious, you have acquired commercial accounting experience and you are ready for the next stage in your career.

Ideally you will have acquired your experience in a large organisation and perhaps you now feel ready totake sole responsibility for accounting matters in a growing subsidiary.

You should have good all round IT skills, be competent in the use of management information tools and ideally you will have worked in organisations which utilise ERP systems.
