The role
As a Business Support Co-Ordinator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

An exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in an intrinsic role assisting with the efficient and effective delivery of Business Support outputs within the Babcock Electro-Mechanical Training Contract (EMTC) working from MOD Lyneham for a FTSE 250 company, which is the 2nd largest supplier of Support Services to Defence.


Day to day, you'll be responsible for internal and external visits, working closely with key customer stakeholders and deliver efficiencies in the contract processes using SharePoint / Microsoft office.

You must have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and support the Senior Management Team in relation to business and office data outputs.


  • Responsible for the organisation of internal and external visits and preparing visit programmes, liaising with key stakeholders, and be responsible for ensuring they are picked up from the main gate, escorted where necessary around the site and ensuring exit protocols are complied with.
  • Maintain office services by organising office operations and procedures, controlling internal and external correspondence, designing and managing filing systems including the administration of SharePoint sites.
  • Provide administrative support directly to the Senior Leadership Team and manage appointment calendars through Outlook.
  • Act as support to the Business Performance Analyst for contract and performance data
  • Maintaining databases/spreadsheets/dashboards and data support tools

Essential experience of the Business Support Co-Ordinator,

  • Relevant Degree or on the job work experience
  • Experience in Intermediate/Advanced Excel
  • Ability to manipulate data accordingly and to present statistical information
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of Quality Management Systems
This is a full-time role with hybrid working. You will be 3 days in the office at our Lyneham site and 2 days working from home.
