The Role
Edward Reed is actively recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to join our PE backed, Professional Services client.

Our client operates nationally and internationally within a regulated environment.

With continued and ambitious growth plans our client is looking for an experienced, diligent, and commercial finance professional to enhance their established finance team.

The role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and as such requires an adaptable individual driven by continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Multiple entity accounting and consolidation
Ensure all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
Assess future expansion plans from a finance perspective
Alongside the FD, oversee group tax planning to support shareholder value
Coordination and submission of VAT returns
Financial controls and process improvement
Management of outsourced payroll in the UK and US
Development of a team to meet future needs
Support the business in delivery against plan
Experienced in analysing, interrogating and interpreting financial reports and accounts
Provide commercial input and challenge to the relevant management teams
Ability to foster excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Adhoc projects and pieces of analysis to support decision making
Ownership of reporting packs and KPIs
Revenue recognition and translation of project delivery into the management accounts
Budgets and forecasting
