Description

Envirocare is a family run commercial grounds maintenance company that is looking to recruit grounds maintenance team leaders to work on a full time permanent basis.

Based at their Leyland depot, applicants will be required to service commercial grounds maintenance contracts using a range of different tasks.


Duties include:

  • Grass Cutting and Lawn Maintenance
  • Landscape Maintenance
  • Hedge, Shrub and Small Tree Pruning
  • Planting and Maintenance of Flowers, Trees, Shrubs and Beds
  • Litter picking
  • Application of herbicides, fungicides or insecticides
  • Winter services gritting and snow clearance
Successful applicants will be responsible for weekly rotas', time management and supervision of other operative's. They will need to ensure all works are carried out on time and to specification.

Applicants will also need the ability to work on their own initiative covering scheduled works in and around Lancashire, with a readiness to work to deadlines and complete works to the required quality standards.


Qualifications and Licences
Experience minimum of two years - Required

Full driving licence - Required

Trailer licence

PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying licence

Use of tree trimmers and pruners, using chain saws, chippers and stump grinders. Chainsaw licence. First Aid Certificate. DBS Check


The hours are full time Monday to Friday, however there is regular overtime offered, with a requirement of one Saturday worked per month during the cutting season (March to October).

Starting at £10 to £11.25 per hour
