Bumble is looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher to help us deliver meaningful and inspiring experiences for our customers.

Your research will deepen customer understanding, to fuel our product development process.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will be an advocate for our customers and their needs, championing them at every stage of the development cycle.

You'll work on a global brand with strong values, that is changing the lives of millions of people around the world already - and helping us to grow and make an even more meaningful impact in the future.


You will also contribute directly to the development of our expanding mixed-methods research practice, helping us to scale a world-class team.


You will be an experienced research professional with a proven track record of delivering rich, actionable and impactful insights across a range of methodologies, prioritising rigour, impact and collaboration.

You will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of your research from start to finish.


Key Accountabilities- Deliver inspirational, action-orientated and rigorous insights across the whole product development cycle.- Deepen knowledge of our customers and their needs and uncover opportunities to serve them better. Work in collaboration with designers, product managers, engineers and data analysts, to bring a customer-centric perspective to the product development process- Help develop and scale the user research function - for example by mentoring junior researchers, documenting best practices, and expanding our methods and operations.


Experience We Are Looking For- 6+ years of experience as a user researcher- Experience of a broad range of user research methods, at all stages of the product lifecycle.- Used to running research studies independently, hands-on, end to end.- Experience with modern, agile research tools and techniques.- Experience of partnership with Analytics and/or Data Science teams, and synthesising user research with other sources of data, such as AB Tests.- A history of strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience working across multiple markets, and a broad range of customers- A degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field, and/or relevant professional experience
