Responsibilities:

Description of Role

As IoT Technical Consultant you will be responsible for:

In addition you will be responsible for:

  • IoT Product and Service Evolution of North's IoT Scotland infrastructure
  • Testing and enhancing IoT Security
  • Assist third parties with onboarding
  • Assist with IoT troubleshooting
  • Assist with corporate IT and/or customer projectS
  • Adhering to compliance requirements for Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Information Security and Data Protection relevant to your job, function and location.

Qualifications:
For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required.

  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and oral communication.
  • A solid track record in LAN/WAN/Wireless Networking
  • Proven experience in planning & designing LoRaWAN networks using RF planning tools such as QGIS
  • Proven experience in deploying & configuring IoT Gateways (Kerlink & Multitech)
  • Proven experience in the set up and configuring of Wanesys Management Centre or equivalent
  • Proven technical knowledge of IoT networking technologies (LoRaWAN, NBIoT etc)
  • API Integration
  • Knowledge of Product/Service development, launch and life cycle management
  • Ability to work alone & within a team to provide the most effective method of service delivery.
  • Pride in themselves and their work.
  • Analytical and detail conscious.
