Description
We are recruiting an Experienced Animal Technician to join our client based in Exeter. Our client is the fastest growing UK Research facility with some of the world's most influential scientists. They are rapidly expanding centre of international excellent research.


As an Experienced Animal Technician, you will be responsible for daily husbandry tasks and general animal welfare within our client's facilities.

If you have a home office license you may be required to perform procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing food and water for the animals
  • Making sure the animals have all the enrichments they need
  • Carrying out daily tasks/checkups, such as, temperature monitoring and general welfare checkups
  • Performing procedural tasks if you have a home office license
  • Reporting and resolution of any impact on the health of the animals
  • General upkeep of the facilities

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Animal Technician experience
  • Hold or have previously held Home Office License modules 13 (not essential)
  • The ability to learn and the capability to further develop your skills in animal husbandry and care

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
