Description

Our client are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Salary:
£28k

Working Hours:
shifts between 7am-5pm

Transport Planner - The Role

Weighing in/out vehicles using the commercial system
Communications with all areas of operations and commercial
Support with completion of daily spreadsheets
Daily filing of paperwork
Support the booking of all goods in transportation.
Support with booking transport for all collected loads.
Support with raising all delivery reference numbers for direct deliveries and collected loads
Managing same day planning
Sending of load details and photos on all export sales
General admin and commercial support
You must have same day courier experience
Strong administrator with previous transport planning experience.
You will have a professional and confident telephone manner and be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Strong IT skills and competency in Microsoft packages is essential.
