Dorset Council is looking for a motivated, customer focused, team player to join the Customer Services team at Purbeck Sports Centre (Wareham).
What you can expect to be doing:
As a first point of call for all customers you will be confident, approachable and dedicated to providing the highest standard of customer care.
The key duties for this position include;- Handling customers enquiries both in person and over the telephone.
- Handling queries regarding the Centre, facilities, events and activities.
- Taking bookings and payments on the point of sale system using cash and cards
- Assisting with general administration such as record keeping, replenishing leaflets and bookings.
- Sales and Memberships
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work in a busy environment
- Good level of IT Skills
- The ability to use your own initiative
- Experience in customer services
About you:
Flexibility and reliability are essential as you will be required to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
The hours of this position are predominantly on Friday evenings and an additional day during school holidays.
