Description

Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced Female Healthcare Assistant to support an adult who has a learning disability, is non-verbal and struggles with seizures and anxiety.

This person lives at home in Tavistock with their elder parents in the downstairs part of the property.

They will also require help with eating and drinking and though they use a wheelchair when out and about, they are able to transfer themselves and walk small steps.

You will be working 1:1

You need to be an experienced carer.

It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need.

You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. Training is paid for.

Pay Rates:

£13.00 p/hr Monday

Friday

£15.30 p/hr Saturday

Sunday

-
£18.30 p/hr Bank Holidays

For consistency a minimum availability of 2-3 nights a week would be preferable up to a maximum of 4 nights each week. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are nights/times you are unable to work.
