About You
Do you possess demonstrable experience of successfully selling within an estate agency, letting agency environment or within property sales? Are you naturally confident, emphatic and an articulate communicator? Customer centric? A highly motivated and performance driven and proactive individual who thrives on problem solving with tenacity and an open mind?


If so, we have a unique and exciting opportunity for you to join are rapidly expanding talented Resales Teams as a Property Consultant.

We are seeking to appoint customer focussed individuals who have a dedicated working style with enthusiasm and drive are highly organised and can manage a substantial workload efficiently and effectively with a keen, "can do" attitude.


What the Property Consultant role involves


At McCarthy Stone we place our customers at the very heart of our culture and core values, as our Property Consultant you will be responsible for achieving, with the view to exceeding, instructions and sales in line with monthly and quarterly targets on developments within designated geographical area.

You will ensure all offers are progressed through to completion and that regular contact with agents and solicitors is maintained throughout the entire sales chain and appropriate details are entered onto the sales system.

What do we look for in a Property Consultant


We understand the importance of our people and invest in training and development ensuring that you are provided with the guidance and support you need to truly realise your potential.


You will have:


  • Previous customerfocussed property experience is a prerequisite, gained within a similar environment
  • Knowledge and be conversant with the Consumer Protection Regulations, Anti Money Laundering Regulations and the Property Ombudsman code of conduct
  • A valid UK Drivers Licence

You will be:


  • Highly competent in questioning and listening to gain a genuine understanding of the customers' requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Proficient organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to handle and manage difficult conversations with customers and third parties
  • Results driven, able to use own initiative, think outside the box, multitask, and work to multiple deadlines.
